Congratulations, John Jude Palencar: Seems we're not the only ones enamored of the work of our Artist Guest of Honor. Spectrum has awarded him the 2008 Grandmaster Award! We would like to add our own congratulations to John Jude Palencar for this magnificent award.
Programming Schedule: The latest version of the programming schedule is up!
Simon Clark to the rescue!: Simon R. Green can't attend, due to health issues. Our thoughts are with him, and we wish him a quick recovery. And we are very pleased to announce that Simon Clark has consented to take over as Toastmaster.
Final Stoker Ballots!: We now have a copy of the 2008 Stoker Awards Ballot with a complete list of nominees with photos and bio sketches.

WHC2008 to Host Stoker Awards!: We're proud to welcome the Stoker Awards for the best in horror to WHC2008. 150 banquet tickets left. Buy now!
Bloodletting Books Steps In!: Due to a scheduling conflict, Biting Dog Press has had to drop out. Larry Roberts of Bloodletting Books has stepped in to fille the gap.
Mort Castle's Writing Workshops!: Mort Castle, editor of Writing Horror, will be running 2 writer’s workshops (14 people each) at a cost of $45/person. He will critique individual manuscripts (only 15 slots available) at an additional cost of $30. Anyone wishing to enroll in the workshop can email programming@whc2008.org.
WHC2008 Film Festival.: Attendees will have the opportunity to view exciting films by independent filmmakers as well as classic horror films. We are accepting submissions for both Full Length features and short films. There will be a minor charge of $10 for short films and $20 for full-length films. More details will be available soon!
